All About Destiny. No, not that kind of "destiny", the Destiny I speak of is my 5 yr old daughter whom I adore.
When Destiny was first born, I didn't really understand what being a father was all about, I took the little things for granted and underestimated the value of time spent with my child. Don't get me wrong, I was there for the "important things" (i.e. first step, first word, etc..). It's the waking up at 3 am to change a diaper, the band aid on a scraped knee, the happiness in her eyes when I got home and the way I feel when I'm around her. Those are the things I miss.
When my wife and I separated, I didn't foresee the effect it would have on my relationship with my daughter. I truly believed I would be the only man in Destiny's life. I was wrong. To this day I am still married, but my astringed wife lives in LA with her new boyfriend. They have since had a child of their own.
Although I speak with Destiny from time to time, she now lives over 1000 mi away. Destiny's mother won't allow me to see her (She thinks I will take her!). I have found no solace through the courts, the "vampires" (attorneys) seem to get paid well to do basically nothing.
Its been nearly a year since I've seen seen my child. All I want is to play a part in her upbringing. I believe a child should at least have access to both parents. My daughter has been denied her child hood rights. With your help I hope to regain my position as Destiny's father.
Through your suggestions, comments and donations I hope to achieve "My Goal". Nothing is out of bounds.
